1. Does the University have year-round meeting facilities?
The University of Leeds has a number of facilities that are available all year round that range from 4-280 delegates. Bodington Hall, Careers Centre, Devonshire Hall, Ellerslie Hall, Lyddon Hall, Parkinson Building and University House.

Outside of our term time (mid March – mid April, mid December – mid January & mid June to mid September) we can offer a vast array of venues offering a maximum capacity of 550.

2. How do I get to the University of Leeds?
The main University campus is in the city centre and just a few miles from Leeds railway station. For information on how to find us please see Getting to the University.
3. How far away is the main campus from the railway station?
The main University is just a 20 minute walk from Leeds city station.  A free city bus is available which stops at the southern end of campus every 10 minutes from 6.30 am - 7.30 pm Mondays to Saturday.
4. Why are there no rates on your website?
The University’s facilities are as wide as they are flexible and so rates are provided based on your specific requirements. However prices range from £130 (room hire) and a DDR of £26.50 (+VAT).
5. Will there be anywhere for me to park?
Parking is available on campus on a first come, first served basis, and the charge is £5.00, but spaces are limited. For more car parking options please see Parkopedia (link to: http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/woodhouse_lane/ls1/leeds/).
6. Do you offer corporate or private dining facilities?
Yes, the University is able to offer venues and catering for all events, occasions and private celebrations.  Our award winning chefs are on hand to ensure your menu meets the needs of your guests.
7. Do delegates have access to leisure facilities?
The University has just opened its new £12.5m fitness centre, The Edge, which will also serve as a London 2012 Olympic training camp venue. Located on campus, delegates will have FREE USE of The Edge for the duration of their event. The Edge boasts a 25m eight-lane pool, sauna and steam room and 200 station gym featuring state-of-the-art equipment.
8. If I am coming to the University where can I stay?
During July to September we can offer Storm Jameson Court, a brand new hotel-style building with 460 en suite junior-double bedrooms. The excellent road, rail and bus network will provide ample opportunities to sample the diversity of Yorkshire.

If your conference is not fully catered for on campus, we can also recommend our four star hotel, Weetwood Hall. This hotel is set within nine acres of parkland estate and built around a 17th Century Manor House; www.weetwood.co.uk

9. Will my venue have Wi-Fi?
Almost all areas of the University have access to the wireless internet.  A Wireless Network Map is available on the University’s website
10. What is there to do in or around Leeds?
